On September 7th, the Friends of St Michael’s way hosted me to give a talk about my pilgrimage at Tremenheere Sculpture gardens.

Over two days at the beginning of September, I walked the St Michael’s way, gathering the seeds of over 30 medicinal plants along the way.

The talk focused on the importance of preserving seed.  As our seeds are increasingly monopolised by corporations and the biodiversity of plant and animal life is disappearing at breakneck speed, I considered what lessons the plants that line the St Michael’s Way can impart to us as we build a movement that protects our right to healthy and clean soils, water, air and communities.
